Hi I’m Kathryn. I have been a full time practicing massage therapist for the past five years. I attended the Utah College of Massage Therapy and graduated in the spring of 2014.

Massage allowed me to heal from my own aches and pains and take responsibility for my health, happiness, and mental well being. I enjoy teaching others how to understand their bodies need for better posture, hydration and exercise to live their best life.

I choose to get a massage bi-weekly to give me the stamina to keep on giving to others and to learn from my colleagues. Each massage I give to the same person is different based on what they need that day. I want my massage space to be a place of compassion where your needs are heard. To encourage growth and patience with ourselves, we must develop an understanding that we do not have to live in pain and we must gain more education on how to manage it.

Self-care starts with you every day. Be kind to yourself and push yourself to make your dreams come true in work and social settings. Take care of yourself when you need to recharge. Rest and massage are the same thing. Personal care starts with a personal phone call. I will help you listen to your body, and teach you to show gratitude to yourself. By having respect and love of body image to handle what life throws at us daily, we may all rise to the occasion with vitality.

When I am not giving massage I enjoy spending time knitting for my six nieces. My mother taught me that a Christmas Present should come from the heart as a handmade gift. Restorative yoga helps me be in the moment with myself by breathing into the tight and sore areas of my body. Nature has away to remind us that we can not control everything. We must quiet the monkey mind to hear the birds and crackling fire, to become part of the scenery. Before starting my massage practice I was a professional cook and to this day I still love feeding the soul. The smell of a simple loaf of bread or cookies hot out of the oven will always bring a smile to my husband and friends.

My mother always told me “I would be good with my hands”. I had no idea how far they could touch others. I am Grateful for the time we had. I have an abundance of Gratitude to have you as my client and to share in your journey through massage.

Clients Experiences with me

“I come to Kathryn because she is patient, kind, knowledgeable, and pragmatic. Kathryn knows what she is doing, she is passionate and humble about it. She listens not only to the words of the client, but the energy and muscle movement. Kathryn offers compassion with her healing hands. I’m grateful to have crossed paths with her.” - Jessica

“Kathryn is a skilled massage therapist. She knows how to work out my kinks! A kind, compassionate woman who is always on time!” - Cheryl

“Being a tattoo artist is exceptionally hard on your body and I have consistently struggled with headaches and nephropathy that interfere with my day today. Kathryn is one of the only massage therapists that has been able to not only alleviate these symptoms but also identify and treat the core muscular issues. She pays attention to what is going on as a whole and is able to make a long term improvement instead of just temporary relief. I am exceptionally grateful for the improvement in my physical well being that Kathryn has helped me achieve.” - Krista
